Interluude is a new way to crowdfund free time.

Try new things. Make new friends. Spend your time on something worthwhile. Coming soon.

It's simple:

Have an idea, but need a hand
to make it happen?

Then you're an organizer. You can be a non-profit group, a large organization, a private company, or just you. Post whatever it is you want to do and set a goal. Then it's up to the community to make it happen.

Have some free time and want to
do something together?

Then you're a backer. Find a project or event or adventure that could use a few of your free hours, like volunteer projects, parties, concerts, fundraisers, hikes, bowling tournaments - pretty much anything in the real world.

Interluude connects event organizers and project creators with people who want to get offline and spend their time on something worthwhile, essentially crowdfunding free time.

We think the meaning of being social has really changed since the invention of social network websites. Now, to be social is to share a photo or a status online, trading likes for retweets. But that isn't really being social is it? Refreshing your newsfeed and sending quick BRBs and OMGs isn't really taking part in your community is it?

You see, today's social networks aren't really social at all. There's no human contact. It's like comparing sending an email to meeting someone in the street and shaking their hand. We want to use technology to put the social back in social media.

Interluude. Spare time well spent.
